Crescendo Music unveils patriotic album ‘Rock On Hindustan’

MUMBAI: On the occasion of Republic Day, music label Crescendo Music has announced composer Siddharth Kashyap’s patriotic album ‘Rock On Hindustan’. The album will release on 26 January 2013.

Featuring a blend of rock, fusion and traditional Indian music, the album is aimed at instilling a patriotic feeling in the generation of young Indians. It comprises of seven tracks rendered by 15 renowned musicians and chorus singers including Roop Kumar Rathod and Madhushree.  Seven music videos have been shot for each of the songs.

Kashyap said, “I am super excited to sing for Crescendo Music again and it’s been always a hearty relationship with them. Our video album ‘Rock On Hindustan’ is a patriotic one which touches the patriotism feel of every Indian. It’s a gift from us to our audience on the occasion of Republic Day. Roop Kumar Rathod and Madhushree will also be seen with me in the video and I hope all goes well and people like our work.”

Crescendo launched composer Kashyap’s debut album, ‘Tu Hi Meri Zindagi’ along with Kavita Krishnamurthy, Roop Kumar Rathod and Vinod Rathod  in 2001. Kashyap is CEO of SK Music Works which is an integrated music production and marketing house based in Mumbai.

Having marketed over 1500 Indian albums of various genres like pop, film music, Hindustani classic, ghazals, devotional, regional and more the label has plans to release four albums of Kashyap this year. Crescendo Music has launched and promoted artists like Sukhbir, Anaida, Lucky Ali, Mehnaz, Mohit Chauhan, Raageshwari, Mika, Nitin Bali, Vikas Bhalla etc.

Crescendo & BMG International jointly marketed the music of international superstars like Elvis Presley, Guns n Roses, the Eagles, Whitney Huston, Toni Braxton, West life etc.
