Corona announces third edition with Submerge

MUMBAI: Rejoicing the authenticity of monsoon season, Corona along with Submerge is all set to stage the third edition of its ‘Corona Monsoon Project 2012’ across six cities.

The multi-city dance music fest will commence on 14 September in Mumbai at F Lounge followed by Pune on 15 September, Goa on 22 September, Bangalore on 23 September, Chennai on 29 September and New Delhi on 30 September. The event will feature artistes like Paul Thomas (Mumbai and Pune), Gina Star (Goa and Bangalore) and Ali Wilson (Chennai and New Delhi).

The brainchild instrumental behind the origin of this concept, Corona GM Ludovic Lasserre said, “Our ideology has always been to make the present count and make it worthwhile and enjoyable. We have received a phenomenal response by investing our energies in building long-lasting customer relationships in a highly competitive market. We have achieved success in presenting the real time Corona experience to the core Indian beer drinkers.”

Themed on ‘Freedom to Perform exclusively for everyone,’ the musical fiesta will also witness supporting acts by upcoming local talent like DJ KD, Deep, Mash, Ajit Pai and Kay Mikado. As an associate, Submerge will program all the artistes as well as market and execute the property across the cities. The fest has also partnered leading music channels like Vh1 and MTV for the electronic and digital media promotions.

Earlier, the project has introduced beat boxer Primitiv, percussionist Doctor Daniel, Damian Major,  Aaron James, Nicolas, DJ Mister K and Iggy.  In its prior edition, the monsoon project has featured various theme including ‘live performance battle, visual and musical combination’ in 2010 and ‘Dance on! Life is too short to be standing still’ in 2011.
