MUMBAI: Electronic music has become quite a rage in India over the last few years, which has resulted in more bands and musicians using that trance effect in their music. That same trance feeling can now be felt in ‘confused pop’ band- Faridkot’s second album ‘Phir Se’.

Lead guitarist Rajarshi Sanyal told Radioandmusic.com, “We listen to a lot of rock and roll music and Indian music that is not just limited to Bollywood. We have heard a lot of electronic music, so through the album we have tried to create an electronic trance feel by using organic sounds from the guitar, drums and so on. It still got pop music structure.”

The album features 10 tracks- ‘Bijli’, ‘Gul’ and ‘Suno’ are a few tracks that can be named. The five member band is made up of IP Singh (vocals), Rajarshi Sanyal (guitars), Shardul Mehta (drums), Nikhil Rufus Raj (Bass), and Akshat Taneja (Keyboards). But the band is keen on adding a few more members on board. “We would love to get someone to sing harmony and some one for percussion, as it would add more spice to live shows. We would love to get more musicians on board,” said Sanyal.
