MUMBAI: Composer Harpreet Singh, who gained popularity in 2008 with album â€?Teri Justajoo’ has launched his fourth Sufi album â€?Teri Rehmatein’ with Sony music.
The album featuring eight tracks has been sung by popular singers including Salim Merchant, Tochi Raina, Richa Sharma, Jaswinder Narula, Meenal Joshi, Javed Ali and Pakistani Sufi artiste Sanam Marvi. Penned by Rajiv Pal Singh, the album highlights various forms of music like Gospel, qawwali and more.

Recently, the album has also released a video for its first single â€?Teri Rehmatein’ sung by Salim Merchant. The videos for the remaining track will also be released soon. Encouraged with the success of Teri Rehmatein, Singh has already composed six tracks for his next album â€?Farida’ which will be crooned by the popular singer Abhijeet Sawant. The six compositions interpret the preaching of Ghulam Fharid.
Harpreet Singh composed his first Sufi album Mehraam, which won him laurels and the best coming from the world renowned maestro AR Rahman. His composition â€?Rehenuma’ sung by Sreeram was picked up by the makers of Hollywood film ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ as the promotional song for the Hindi version and various other languages.
