MUMBAI: Big FM has launched its cooking show ‘Rasoi Ki Rani’ in Delhi. The show will feature as a special segment on afternoon show, Big Memsaab with RJ Khanak between 1-2pm.
Providing housewives an opportunity to showcase their cooking talent, the show will be judged by none other than the very popular Chef Rakesh Sethi. The month-long cooking special will have an on-air and on-ground campaign which will engage listeners at multiple touch-points across the city.
Rasoi ki Rani’s television avatar across the markets of Central India and Punjab has been a success and the station’s expects to resonate the same from the radio show.

Interested aspirants can participate through on-air dial-in registrations or by sending an SMS. During the show, the Big FM Delhi team will visit different parts of Delhi-NCR to shortlist eight deserving candidates who will be featured on the show along with nine other special contestants chosen on-air. The 17 lucky semi-finalists will battle it out in a cook-off round where Sethi will select nine contestants based on their cooking skills. The campaign will conclude with the felicitation of the top three winners by Sethi and the crowning of Big FM Delhi’s first ‘Rasoi Ki Rani’.

Big Chef Rakesh Sethi, instrumental in getting audiences hooked to Rasoi Ki Rani over the last six months on the popular show Big Memsaab will host, interact and judge with Delhi listeners. The show will provide contestants with cooking guidelines and is pegged on the key insight of the Indian housewife not getting adequate credit for her cooking.
