MUMBAI: Coming Sunday, Channel [V] will showcase a two-hour special on the showman of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai.
The channel will, from 5 pm to 7 pm, air hit music from Ghai’s films interspersed with scenes from his films ranging from Karz, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, Khal Nayak, Pardes, Taal, Yaadein, Joggers’ Park, to his latest release Yuvvraaj.
The special will also see interviews with “the showman” himself talking about his journey, his experiences, his favourite actors and other interesting tit-bits.
“While promoting Yuvvraaj, this idea struck us as why not to use the huge library of Ghai’s music and package it in the way that viewers love to watch,” Channel [V] VP content and communication Saurabh Kanwar tells Indiantelevision.com. “Also, we got him to talk about his life, which will be a mega experience for viewers.”
Ghai has launched many fresh faces including Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Manisha Koirala and Mahima Chaudhury in the Bollywood.
