MUMBAI: Warner Music Group Corp. (WMG) has announced that Brian Roberts will become the executive VP and chief financial officer with effect from 1 January, 2012.
He will succeed Steven Macri who has been WMG’s executive VP and CFO since 2008 and will remain in his position till the end of this year. Roberts will report to WMG CEO Stephen Cooper.

Roberts currently serves as senior VP and CFO of Warner/Chappell Music, WMG’s music publishing business, a position he’s held since 2007.

Prior to joining Warner/Chappell in 2007, Roberts was senior VP- finance & administration of North & South America at BMG Music Publishing for five years.
