Brett Lee partners Vh1 for social initiative ‘Spread the Music’

MUMBAI: Brett Lee’s foundation â€?Mewsic’ has partnered with Vh1’s  first pro-socio campaign â€?Spread the Music’ to aid underprivileged children with music education.

Brett Lee, launched the campaign with other well known artistes from the Indian music industry. The fast paced bowler has also collaborated with Australia’s Muso-Magic team to compose and choreograph a song for the campaign.

Speaking on the campaign Brett Lee said, I am thrilled that together with Vh1, we can spread the music across India to heal, educate and empower disadvantaged Indian kids. Music has helped me a lot in my life and I believe that it has the potential to help many kids overcome challenges they face in life, to reach their full potential….

Leading music artistes will mentor the â€?Mewsic’ program children and will organize a charity concert to spread awareness on the initiative. Vh1 is promoting the campaign through digital, radio and on-ground activities.

Vh1 Channel India head Ferzad Palia said, We’re delighted to launch â€?Vh1 Spread The Music’. There are so many less fortunate children out there with immense talent; however, lack of finances and various other reasons deter them from coming to the fore. Our endeavour is to aid this talent in every possible way….
