MUMBAI: BoxTv to air a few of the National Geographic programs and documentaries on the premium video service. This includes Fans of Air Crash Investigation, Banged Up Abroad, Taboo, Megacities, Caught In The Act, A Traveller’s Guide to The Planets.
“The National Geographic Channel content adds a new dimension to our content library. This is top-quality edutainment content that people have loved watching over the years. We have had many of our users write in to us asking for this library. Making it available on-demand allows users to watch it any number of times at their convenience – which was a constant request that users asked for,” says BoxTV business head, Pandurang Nayak.
As a part of the offering, BoxTV will feature premium or high rated NGC content for audiences in the Indian sub-continent, covering popular shows and documentaries. The content will be available for free ad-supported viewing.

The content will be available across the web and BoxTV’s mobile and device apps. NGC content will add on to BoxTV’s large library of more than 17,000 hours of content across Hollywood, Bollywood, Regional movies and television.
