MUMBAI: Pioneering hip hop/reggae band Bombay Bassment’s new single, “Reggae Over India” is ready to drop on the 20th of December. After almost a decade promoting hip hop music, Mumbai based DJ/Producer Major C, emcee/vocalist Bobkat and Bassist Ruell took a reggae trip on this track to pay tribute to India’s budding reggae scene.
The song is mastered by international reggae artist Dread Squad who also handled the console on their last release Bam Bam (One Love).
Few indie bands are as consistent as Bassment. After the upcoming release, the band gears up for their annual Rasta Gully Jam, a one day festival in Kurla and Kalina where the band will host budding talent in the hip hop reggae space.
