Bob Dylan’s European tour dates announced

MUMBAI: Legendary musician Bob Dylan will begin his 33-date Europe tour from Oslo on 10 October and will end on 28 November at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

An official statement on his website stated Bob Dylan and his band will tour Europe this fall. The tickets for ‘Bob Dylan in Europe’ have gone on sale. The announcement follows the September release of Dylan’s latest studio album-‘The Tempest’.

The tour will take place across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Scotland and England. Before this tour, Dylan will complete his AmericanaramA tour in California till 4 August.

In 2006, ‘Modern Times’ became one of the artist’s most popular albums, selling more than 2.5 million copies worldwide and earning Dylan two more Grammys. ‘Together through Life’ became the artist’s first album to debut at number 1 in both the US and the UK.                 

In May this year, Dylan was made an honourary member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
