MUMBAI: Big Star IMA Awards, a joint venture between Indian Music Academy, and two media houses Reliance Broadcast Network and Star India to felicitate annual excellence in all forms of Indian Music, will be telecasted on Sunday, 5th June at 8 pm on Star Plus.
The awards recorded more than 3000 entries from musicians, lyricists, labels and the entire music industry, covering five categories i.e. Classical, Traditional, World Contemporary, Sound Design and Film. Digital promotions and on-ground activation was executed for â€?The Popular Category Awards’ where listeners of 92.7 Big FM, radio arm of Reliance Broadcast Network across its 45 station networks voted for their favourite lyricist, composer, musician and singer in the popular section via SMS or Online logins.
