MUMBAI: Big FM has partnered with Talenthouse India to reinvent its signature tune ‘Suno Sunao Life Banao’ for this Diwali season. The campaign ‘Diwali Manao Remix Banao’ is conducted across its 35 Hindi speaking markets (HSM).
Through this initiative, listeners are entitled to remix the station’s existing signature tune into a catchy and festive sequence. The best and most appropriate of which will be adopted by the radio station as its Diwali special jingle. The contest is open for listeners, talented lyricists, music producers, sound engineers, independent artists and composers. Participants can upload their version of the signature tune on the website. The last date for entries is 31 October, while the winner will be announced in the first week of November.
A pre-decided jury will go through all the submissions and the best tune will win a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and pan India recognition. The runner up stands to get publicity on the network.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com on the association, Talenthouse India CEO Arun Mehra said, “This is a big initiative from a radio channel to change their id and give budding talent an opportunity to get recognised through it. Our role in the campaign is to reach out to the talent, ask them to participate and facilitate the entire competition. We have already reached out to various music colleges and aim to make this platform reach out to the youth through the internet.”
