Mumbai: Big FM has taken on board actor and model Maaninee Mishra, better known as Pari of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, to host its show 9 Baje Ki Setting.The show airs in Delhi from 9 pm to 11 pm daily. Delhi will see Maaninee playing Cupid to lovelorn listeners unable to profess their love, and will bail them out of their dilemma. The station says Maaninee fits in perfectly with the theme of the show as the eternal romanticist whose aim on the show will be to unite prospective lovers. Commenting on her role as the new “Love master” in town, Maaninee says “I had always been on television and I enjoyed flirting with the camera. When Big 92.7 FM offered me “9 Baje Ki Setting” , I was very excited because from a visual medium, I was moving to a completely aural medium, where I had to connect to listeners through my voice – which is a challenge. The power of imagination is high on radio, which allows me to say things and get them to imagine what it would be like!”
