MUMBAI: Riding high on its recent success in Delhi, Big FM has roped in RJ Avinash to co-host the weekday evening show from 5-9pm along with RJ Saakshi.
The jock was introduced on the show through a innovative on-air teaser where he was positioned as a Punjabi tutor supporting RJ Saakshi on her journey to learn the language.
RJ Avinash joins Big FM with extensive hosting experience. Having previously emceed events and also been an RJ with multiple radio networks, he will now join RJ Saakshi on the show to up the entertainment quotient for listeners in the city.

As per the RAM data for week 50 2012 to Week 1 2013, 59 per cent of audiences who tune-in for the evening show are predominantly youth aged between 12-34 years. This in turn makes the evening band an extremely competitive one with all broadcasters trying to make their show engaging and entertaining in various ways.
Having taken on a retro positioning with the tagline ‘Hit The Hit Rahenge’ in 2011, Big FM’s Delhi station has constantly innovated to present different content that would appeal to its listeners. It finally managed to break all jinxes when it emerged as the number one station in the city in Week 2 of 2013 (RAM).
