NEW DELHI: Sudha Sadhanand has been appointed as the Radio Operations Head in Delhi for 92.7 BIG FM to oversee all aspects related to programming, technical and promotions for the station with the objective of increasing the station’s market share. She will report to Soumen G Choudhury, Business Head.
With around 15 years of experience in the media and communication space, which includes an earlier stint as Programming Head for BIG FM Delhi (during which she introduced successful programmes like 100 Chartbusters) Sadanand has also worked as VP Programming with Fox International Channels, anchor and producer with Times Now and with channels like India TV and TVi, and as non-fiction Editor with Penguin.
Choudhury says, “Sudha has a remarkable understanding of listener’s preferences and music and she has honed these skills even further in the various media houses that she has been associated with. Sudha’s versatility, coupled with an enviable knowledge of the music space, is a talent-mix that is sure to create a key differentiator in the FM radio business. We are confident Sudha will further invigorate the programming and content on the station and take it even closer to the hearts of the listeners….
