MUMBAI: Anirudh Ravichander bagged the best debut music director for ‘3’ at Big FM’s Tamil Entertainment Awards.
A total of 30 awards were presented in the presence of the cr?me de la cr?me of the Tamil film, music and television industry. Aalaap Raju and Saindhavi bagged the best male and female playback singers award respectively. Hip-hop Tamizha Adhi bagged best popular YouTube video – Tamil.
Punya Srinivas was awarded the best carnatic musician of the year while Na Muthukumar picked up lyricist of the year. Santhosh Narayanan – ‘pizza’ bagged the award for the best background score of the year while D imman bagged best music director for ‘Kumki’. K. Balachander was honoured with Life Time Achievement Award.

The ceremony, hosted by RJ Muthu, Ophelia and Balaji featured stellar performances by stars including Anirudh, actors Iniya, Vijayalaksmi and Tamil hip-hop musician Adhi among others.
