MUMBAI: Presenting a musical twist in its content offering to music aficionados, Big CBS Spark has initiated an hour segment ‘Freaky Wacky’ celebrating Halloween. The episode will air today at 8pm.
The segment will comprise of a handpicked playlist of special Halloween classic tracks from artistes like Pink, The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Avicii, Aqua, Michael Jackson, Florence and the Machine and Nicki Minaj amongst others. It will also feature some of the wacky costumed music videos in recent times.
In a bid to engage the youth at a larger scale, the channel has initiated a strong marketing campaign by using the social media in various ways. To begin with, the channel will showcase a special ‘Freaky Wacky’ video playlist on Youtube along with Halloween content and songs coupled with pictures of wacky celebrity costumes on their Facebook page. Apart from that, they will also run a contest on the social networking site Twitter using #WackyCostumes, asking people the wackiest costume they would wear for Halloween.
