New Delhi: Delhi’s Big FM has appointed Manisha Tripathi as its station director. Punit Mathur has put in his papers.
Commenting on the new appointment, Big 92.7 FM Regional Head – North and West Himanshu Shekhar said, “I am delighted to have someone with Manisha’s caliber and accomplishment to join us. Her extensive experience and knowledge of diverse business sector will help serve and create great entertainment value for the Delhi-ites.”
Tripathi will be looking after the entire functioning of the Delhi station including oversee operations, human resources, and administration like programming, marketing, finance and all the general activities for the Station.
Says Tripathi “It gives me immense pleasure to lead Big FM’s Delhi Station and I look forward to the journey ahead and working with the team. Delhi is an extremely aspirational city and I am looking forward to working on Big FM, Delhi.”
A Masters in Mass Communication from Sophia College in Mumbai, Manisha began her professional journey in the digital entertainment sector with TV 18. She later joined TATA Sky and was a part of the core Business Development Team.
Prior to this role, Manisha was the Station Director of Big FM Goa and was responsible for the entire business function of the Goa Station.
Meanwhile, the where about of Punit Mathur remains unknown; as per sources, Mathur is taking break for a while.
