MUMBAI: Making her highly anticipated return to stage post pregnancy, pop singer Beyonce Knowles paid tribute to the late soul singer Whitney Houston at a concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The singer performed on Houston’s hit single ‘I Will Always Love You’ before grooving to her popular tracks like ‘Halo’, ‘Love on Top’, ‘Baby Boy’, ‘Single Ladies’ and ‘Run the World (Girls)’ amongst others. Her two hour concert marked the opening of Revel Casino in the city and was her first live act since the songstress gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy in January.
Knowles told the audience, “I got to say, it feels so good to be back home on stage.”
The show was the first of the four concerts lined up in Atlantic City for the Memorial Day weekend. Her rapper husband Jay Z, First Lady Michelle Obama and her two daughters were present at the musical evening.
