MUMBAI: Having featured some of the most exciting and young talents that India has to offer today, Baleno Wicked Weekends returns to Mumbai. This edition will feature the dance floor-friendly stylings of DJ and producer, Nanok.
Nanok will perform in Mumbai at Glocal Junction, Worli on 25 March 2017.
Though a veteran on the DJ circuit in Mumbai for well over a decade, Nanok came to people’s attention with his debut album release in 2014, ‘Death by Shoelaces’ and followed that up months later with a five-track EP, ‘Fever’. Laced with a liberal dose of glitchy disco, Nanok’s productions are poppy and peppy, perfect for the dancefloor.

Even though his latest release, ‘Lay You Down’ – a track that featured vocalist Ray Dee – got more people talking about the video, the song highlights Nanok’s polished production techniques and his penchant for the groove.
Described as India’s longest party marathon, Baleno Wicked Weekends, a collaboration between Maruti Suzuki, NEXA and Zee Live, it has put on 14 shows so far and looks to feature some of the most exciting independent music talent from India.
A multi-city nightlife campaign that aims to redefine and reinvigorate the club scene in India, Baleno Wicked Weekends has featured established indie acts like Midival Punditz, Raghu Dixit, and bass music producers like Sound Avtar and Mojo Jojo and hopes to become the one-stop nightlife guide for audiences and artistes alike.
