MUMBAI: One hustler from the sets of MTV Hustle 2.0 has proved that she deserves to be at the top with her top-notch performances till now. We are talking about none other than our entertainment powerhouse, Srushti Tawde. The Marathi Mulgi has left an imposing mark on the viewers and judges alike with her exquisite lyrics, flawless music sense and her tasteful stage avatars.
In the recent episode, she made everyone take a trip down the memory lane with a rap on a simple story that was a part of our childhood – The Thirsty Crow. But her rap wasn’t simple at all, with an amazing hook and use of lyricism she gave a totally unique twist to it. Immensely blown away by the performance Badshah said “Declare kardo isko winner.”
Even the guest judge Brodha V was amazed at how much she had grown in just one year! However, a tearful Srushti revealed how she felt very demotivated when she read demeaning comments about female rappers under her video. To this, Dee MC shares the example of the pop star Doja Cat, how she faces hate no matter how awesome her work is. Dee MC nails the point home to Srushti by saying that the haters don’t even deserve to breathe the air around her!
