MUMBAI: Singer Neeti Mohan who shot to fame by winning Channel V – popstars and becoming a member of Aasma band has come a long way since then. She has now become a renowned playback artist in bollywood and her latest song ‘Saadi Galli Aaja’ from Nautanki Saala has received a lot of praise.
Speaking with Radioandmusic.com, the talented singer said, “It was great working for Nautanki Saala. I know Ayushmann from popstar days, we had met in 2003. It was awesome working with him. ‘Saadi Galli Aaja’ was his and Rochak Kohli’s composition. They had decided that there was a need for a female vocal and that it would go well with the song and that is how it happened. We recorded it and now people really love the song.”
On her experience rendering with Khurrana, she said, “He sings from his heart and music is his passion. You need to be passionate about music to have the skills to sing, compose and pen the lyrics as well.”

Khurrana has sung, composed and penned ‘Saadi Galli Aaja’ and has rendered two tracks in the film. He debuted as playback singer and actor through the film ‘Vicky Donor’ which got him fame. “He is a multi-talented person who acts, writes and sings. Above all he is a amazing human being,” she added.
Mohan who is currently concentrating on her musical career in playback singing is busy rendering tracks and doing live shows. “Music is my life and it’s the best thing that can happen to me. I travel mostly on weekends to perform live gigs in different countries and cities and in week days I render tracks. I am getting busier and busier,” she added.
