BANGALORE: Asianet will air a special event ‘Dasettan@50’, to honour renowned singer KJ Yesudas on completing 50 glorious years in the music industry.
The event witnessed performances by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Goshal, bringing together legends from music and cinema.

Yesudas was felicitated by Asianet Communications Ltd MD K Madhavan, for his outstanding contributions to the Indian Film Industry. The event celebrated achievements of the classical and devotional singer also known as ‘Dasettan’.
‘Dasettan@50’ is Asianet’s third major event to honor Yesudas’s achievements. The channel had earlier broadcast an interview ‘Suvarna Shobhayil Dasettan’ by their business head John Brittas with the singer. It also ran a special episode which had the singer Yesudas interacting with and spending time with the participants.
The event will air on 25-26 February.
