MUMBAI: Hungama Digital Media’s ArtistAloud has introduced a new initiative to promote original and unreleased music by artistes, titled First 1s.
First 1s is a celebration of music from talented musicians from various parts of the world who have been selected and brought together onto one common platform. Users via the Upload feature on the ArtisteAloud, had sent their unreleased work. Out of the thousand entries, the in-house team of experts from the industry hand picked the very best 11 to bring out the first made for digital compilation- ArtistAloud.com First 1s. Listeners now will also be able to vote for their favorite single from these 11. The most voted single will then further be released by Universal Music in a physical music compilation
The artistes explore various genres like Country, Alternative Pop, Urban Indi Pop to Hindi Metal to name a few. Each of these 11 singles are available for users to sample, buy and share.

The eleven final artistes chosen are Nishant Mudgal, Oru Venalai, Mehreen Mahmud, Yunhi, Lal Chandra And Himanshu Chawla, Vinapra, Naad, Muziminds Siddhartha Chattopadhyay, Joelene Dove and Jacque Taylor.
