MUMBAI: Building on his growing reputation as a unique lyrical storyteller, UK-based singer Jaz Dhami is releasing a new track, Bomb Bae. The song is supported by Artist Originals (AO), JioSaavn’s in-house label for global South Asian artists.
Speaking on the launch, Jaz Dhami said, “Mumbai’s unique culture and vibrancy have inspired many artists. With Bomb Bae, I found it brought together so many of my musical influences including those I was exposed to while living in the city. I’m really happy with how the track has turned out and am confident that music lovers will enjoy the amalgamation of Punjabi lyrics with a global RnB sound.”
A lyrical celebration of the varied shades of love, Bomb Bae captures the essence of loving and romancing the city of Mumbai, affectionately known as the Maximum City. Through its fusion of Punjabi-English lyrics with funky hip-hop beats, the vibrant track perfectly captures the ups and downs of the experience that is the city.

Since first gaining prominence in 2014, Jaz Dhami has established himself as a global artist with a true desi soul. He was the first South Asian artist to collaborate on the official BBC Music Launch Song, which featured 27 international artists including prominent names such as Pharrell Williams, Stevie Wonder, One Direction, Elton John, and Sam Smith.
In 2016, Jaz also performed at the first-ever BBC Asian Network Live Concert in London in a lineup that included artists like Badshah, Naughty Boy, Imran Khan, and Kanika Kapoor. He has also performed with the London Philharmonic and a 71-piece orchestra at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. His track, God Only Knows, was released to raise funds for the BBC’s Children in Need initiative.
Prior to launching Bomb Bae, Jaz Dhami has also released two commercial singles, Kai Saal and Kiwe Dassa, with JioSaavn’s AO label. Both the tracks have been extremely well-received by music lovers across the globe.
