MUMBAI: It’s difficult for most in the B-town to move out of their busy schedule to pay a tribute to people who have been the pillars of this industry, but not Armaan Malik. Unlike most Armaan did not limit himself to social media when it came to paying tribute to musical legend Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on his 20th death anniversary.
Armaan went all out and created his rendition of Tere Bin Nahi Lagda song.
“Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is perhaps one of the greatest singers to have ever graced the earth. The legacy he has left behind has been truly immeasurable,” says Kaun Tujhe singer.

He further adds, “Tere Bin Nahi Lagda is my favorite track ever since I had first heard it on the soundtrack of the movie Bend It Like Beckham. This rendition of mine is a tribute to Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab.”
Armaan’s rendition of the track is nothing short of perfect but he states, “Nothing can come close to the power and passion of Khan Sahab’s original song. However, I’ve tried my best to keep the emotion intact and add my musical ornaments onto this beautiful melody.”
“For people in India, and the rest of the world, he will always be considered an idol and an inspiration. May Nusrat Sahab’s music and passion live on and may this rendition of mine help the youth to discover the musical treasure and magic of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan,” adds Armaan.
