MUMBAI: Famous Indian singer, Armaan Malik has always been vocal about his opinions on social media. The 22-year-old singer has condemned the recent shootout incident of a pregnant Pakistani singer, Samina Samoon, while criticizing the brutal rape and murder of eight-year-old Asifa Bano.
Armaan tweeted, “What’s happening in the world!! Just heard about the little girl #Asifa and then the singer #SaminaSamoon ..It’s so hard to believe that humans only do all this ugly acts.”
As per reports, the said singer was performing in Kanga village of Sindh province at the time of the ordeal. Reports say that her refusal to stand during the performance led to her murder at the hands of some Tarique Ahmed Jatoi, who was present in the crowd at the time of the concert. Drunk Tarique shot Samina when she had finally stood up. A video showing her being shot surfaced on social media, two days after her killing. It was some Islamabad-based human rights activist Kapil Dev, who broke the news on Twitter, post which the incident has been greatly criticized.

While the accused has been arrested, Samina’s husband has demanded a double FIR to be filed against him for killing both his wife and baby. Also, Home Minister of Sindh, Pakistan, Suhail Anwar Siyal, has demanded a report in the matter, whose investigation is on. Samina Samoon, 24, was six months pregnant and was shot plain point black in her forehead.
