MUMBAI: After composing a host of love melodies, composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee has taken a step in another direction to compose the peppy track- ‘Paniwala Dance’ from the upcoming film ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’. The lyrics for the song ‘Paniwala Dance’ have been written by Ikka and Arko, and the song features Sunny Leone.
“I can finally get a rid of the tag ‘boring’ now as I would only compose soft romantic songs. Even the songs that I have made and a few upcoming ones are romantic numbers. It was Zee Music who came up with the offer of collaborating with Ikka Singh and music producer- Intense. Ikka, Intense and I have collaborated for the first time. Also we went back and forth with the track as Intense is based out of India. This was a true collaboration,” said Arko. ‘Paniwala Dance’, has crossed three million likes on YouTube.

Arko has composed another track for the film, which is a remake of the song ‘Jane Do Na’ from ‘Saagar’. The composer tried adding a groovy twist to the track, while retaining the original ‘mukhda’. The song is crooned by Ankit Tiwari and Shraddha Pandit. The track will keep the original titled for recall value, said Arko. Both tracks were created in a couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, Arko revealed that he has signed a contract with Tips Music and T-Series for creating remakes of old tracks. He has already composed two songs for T-Series. The ‘Jism 2’ composer does not have any qualms being tagged as the man for remakes. “I made ‘Aaj Phir Tumpe’ and it was successful. When I compose remakes I make sure I have the liberty to alter the parts of the songs which I wish to,” he concluded.
