MUMBAI: Singer-composer Arjun Kanungo released a beautiful love ballad song “Fursat Hai Aaj Bhi” featuring Sonal Chauhan, under VYRL Originals
It is a love song but also with a mixture of longing and separation. “Last year my dad was sick with cancer and there were a lot of emotions going through inside me that’s when I wrote the music. Mayur Puri and I wrote around the same time when “Hona Chaida” was released”.

“Fursat Hai Aaj Bhi” is his first music video release amid the lockdown which was shot completely using an iPhone, he has also been releasing a number of songs in his You Tube channel. “I love this process as I write my music myself. It was fun and different shooting with less people around, the entire thing was recorded in my house for my part my girlfriend Carla Dennis and Sonal shot her part in hers and ones the lock-down was lifted she came over to shot for a day. It took just 5-6 days to complete the whole scene and ones we got all the help we sent the final files to make the final copy”, said the “Aaya Na Tu” singer.
The singer reveals that he has done more productive things amid the lock-down than he has ever been. He has spent almost half of his life travelling and working but now he has a lot of free time. “Writing music, doing a lot for my social media and working out. Not forgetting the household works, I have started to enjoy doing that”.
Arjun Kanungo unveils that he will be releasing his first album on a collective of 10-12 songs during early 2021, he is almost done with it but before that he has a pile line of upcoming songs to be released.
The 29-year-old singer is prominently known for his hit songs “Tum Na Ho”, “Fursat”, “Ek Dafaa”, “La La La”, “Baaki Baatein Peene Baad”, “Fursat”, “Ek Dafaa Chinnamma” and many more. Arjun will also be making his Bollywood debut in Salman Khan starrer ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. Directed by Prabhudheva. The film is slated to hit the theatres on Eid this year but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
