MUMBAI: Do you still find it hard to get over the music of ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi’? Does it manage to recreate the same magic that it did in 1991 for you, even today? Then this piece of news is about to get a huge smile on your face.
Mahesh Bhatt who created the magnum opus ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi’ starring Pooja Bhatt and Aamir Khan, is set to recreate its magic in his first TV show ‘Naamkarann’. The producer has roped in veteran singers Anuradha Paudwal and Kumar Sanu to sing a rendition on the show.
This track will mark the comeback of this trio after 25 years. The song sung by these singers for the Star Plus show is titled ‘Dhup Ka Ek Tukda’. It will be featured on actors Sayantani Ghosh and Viraf Patel who will be seen playing pivotal roles on the show.

Naamkarann tells the story of 10-year-old Avni played by Arsheen Naamdar, who with her innocence will be seen questioning the existing societal norms.
