NEW DELHI: Bhajan, ghazal and qawwali mesmerised the audience at the ‘Sur Lehri’ musical evening here on Friday evening.
Singers of various genres left the audience spellbound at the evening organised by All India Radio, New Delhi.
Veterans like Anup Jalota, Seema Parveen, Nawaz Sabri and party, and Munawar Masoom held everyone in thrall with their performances. The programme was preceded by Lok Rang on 26 February, also organised by AIR Delhi.
This event featured Punjabi, Gujarati, Kumaoni and Bundelkhandi folk songs and dances.
