MUMBAI: Exploring music beyond its boundaries, The London International Festival of Exploratory Music’ (LIFEM 12) is all set to lend Scandinavian touch in its ‘LIFEM 12: Sounds from the Arctic Cool’, scheduled to be held between 31 October to 3 November 2012 at Kings Place in London.
The fest has put-forth the eclectic mix of Scandinavian groups including Frida Hyvönen (Sweden), EF (Sweden) + Tomorrow We Sail (UK), Deaf Center (Norway), Biosphere (Norway), Wimme Saari & Tapani Rinne (Finland) and RinneRadio (Finland)
The fest will feature a mélange of various genres like indie pop, avant rock, yoik folk, nu jazz and ambient electronica artists. The fest is curated and produced by Red Orange and supported by Lottery Fund, Kings Place, Art Council England, Embassy of Finland and Sweden in London.
