Collecting her first Golden Globe, the singer who made her first appearance after giving birth to a baby boy in October said, “The award was for my boyfriend Simon who convinced me to do it, and my wonderful son. I wasn’t expecting this. It’s very strange to be here. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives.”

Picking up the award for Best Original Score was Mychael Danna for the India-set drama film ‘Life of Pi’ directed by Ang Lee. Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez presented the trophy to Danna who said, “Thank you to Fox for being crazy enough to make this movie.”
