MUMBAI: Singer Abhishek Nailwal, who last sang the song ‘Kaise Bataaoon’ from the film ‘3G’, has crooned three tracks – ‘Is Duniya Se Ladna Hai’,’ Hogi Kranti’ and ‘Ishq Karenge’ – for ‘Bangistan’. And even while working on the film, Nailwal continued to work with music composer, Ram Sampath on a few jingles and TV commercials.
“The best part about Ram sir is that he will give you the situation of the songs and will let you improvise on the track. He is someone who will allow you to explore your creativity and any singer would enjoy working with such a composer,” revealed Nailwal.
Emotions are an important part of any type of music, and Nailwal feels that it is important to be true to the emotions of a song while singing it and the rest will fall in place. “You need to be open minded as that is the only way you can learn,” he added. For instance, he revealed that when singing the songs in ‘Bangistan’, he was asked to keep in mind the emotions of a terrorist.

Nailwal’s interest in music comes from his mother, he said, who used to teach him how to sing. From there on, he knew that music was the path he wanted to take, so once he had completed his education, Nailwal started contacting jingle composers. It was Sameer Uddin, a renowned jingle composer, who gave him his first break. “When I went to him, I did not know anything about the recording studio. It was he who taught me everything about the recording studio. He still guides me with my music,” Nailwal added.
Nailwal, who sings in various languages, including Tamil and Telugu, has also composed a few songs for the film ‘Banke Ki Crazy Barat’. The film features Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz and Rakesh Bedi, and is set to release on 28 August, 2015.
