He made this statement during the AIB Knockout controversy to PTI. We believe this statement is very relevant today as AIB’s Tanmay Bhat finds himself amidst controversy, yet again.
For the uninitiated, a couple of days ago Tanmay Bhat posted a video titled ‘Sachin vs Lata Civil War’. In the video, Bhat is seen roasting the Bharat Ratna awardees, Lata Mangeshkar, and Sachin Tendulkar. The video went viral like most AIB videos, but this one garnered more criticism than applauds despite a disclaimer from Bhat that read: I make such nonsense on my Snapchat – follow me there – ID: Thetanmay. Also, I obviously love Lata and Sachin, just having some fun.
So, what in this video really made the loyal AIB fans dislike it?
