MUMBAI: A Band of Boys, who are set to get back on the music front with their new single, were recently seen endorsing Harman India, a brand known for its engineered products and designs that include car systems, professional audio and visual products, etc.
Speaking about their association, Sherrin Varghese from the band said, “Harman India is a very giant organisation having several big professional audio and visual brands under it like AKG, Lexicon, Martin, Yamaha, Soundcraft JBL, dbx, etc. It has done a phenomenal job of putting together some of the best singers, performers and musicians in the country like AR Rahman, Sivamani, Viveick Rajagopalan and now A Band Boys. It just seemed to be the right fit because they don’t have a boy band; we are an exhausting act, requiring everything in the multiple of four. We both are equally excited.”
Harman organises the Harman Live Arena concert every year, a three-day continuous demo of Harman’s end-to-end live solutions. Revealing about their performance at the event next year, Sherrin added, “We are looking forward to performing at the Harman Live Arena next year, where we will be performing the last main act in Palm Expo. Since we just have signed with the brand; we couldn’t perform on the show this year.”

“The event is known for its best lights and sound display. Showcased by the best in the industry, these people collaborate with all the artists under their umbrella organisations to showcase their gear and thus support the artist. We feel very privileged to be associated with them,” Sherrin further added on Harman Live Arena.
This prestigious concert is known for introducing the latest technology and gear in music. On this, another band member, Chint2 Bhosale also joined Sherrin as they told, “It’s like an exhibition of the latest cutting-edge audio and technology. A lot of engineers and musicians come and experiment with the newest instruments. The event also unfolds what the coming year will hold in terms of audio technology.”
Lastly, Sherrin signed off not before thanking the Harman team, as he said, “We want to thank Prashant Govindan (Sr. Director Harman Professional Solutions India and SAARC), Harish Venugopal Nair (Marketing Lead at Harman International India Pvt. Ltd.) and Yogesh Nambiar (Head of Marketing at Harman International India) for picking us from from such a vast talented repository and recognising us as a formidable act to be a part of their endorsee industry.”
Meanwhile, the international company which has ambassadors across the world had signed Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra as the global ambassador earlier this year for their JBL® and Harman Kardon® audio brands.
