MUMBAI: This Valentine’s Day, UTV Bindass launches an unique initiative called Tata Nano presents UTV Bindass Love Band to reach out to your love this Valentine’s.
Bindass gives its viewers the opportunity to propose to their lovers with a song performed by a renowned band. All that the viewers need to do is log onto UTV Bindass’ Facebook page, answer a few simple questions and be among the few lucky ones who could stand a chance to gift a band to their lovers. For this initiative Bindass has roped in four known artists and bands – â€?Something Relevant, â€?3 Guys and a Girl’, â€?Dischordian’ and well known singer/ song writer, Nikhil D’Souza , who has also sung in films like Ek Main aur Ek Tu and Aisha. Some of these band proposals will be selected and out on air as vignettes on UTV Bindass on Valentine’s Day.
Garreth Dmello, Dischordian talks about Tata Nano presents UTV Bindass Love Band, With a concept so new and refreshing there was no moving back. Through Bindass we got to know about this boy who wanted to propose a move-in relationship to his fianc?©. It was a fun experience and I guess ended well for the couple too as by end of us singing our song Baby May be… they were wrapped in each other arms!! So kudos to Bindass and us for diffusing more love on earth this Valentine!…

Apart from the above activity UTV Bindass is also doing an on-ground initiative with colleges in Delhi and Mumbai on Feb 14th – the activity is called â€?Like Bindass Har Rose’. Bindass van will be stationed outside colleges with an IPAD, the students who will ‘HIT’ ‘LIKE’ on Bindass FB page will get a rose which they can give their loved one on Valentine’s Day. 500 roses in each college will be given out This includes colleges like KC, MIthibai, NM, Xaviers, Poddar in Mumbai and Stephen, Hansraj, Hindu, Miranda house and Kamla Nehru college in Delhi.
Speaking about the initiatives, Keith Alphonso, Business Head, UTV Bindass said, We invite the youth to sing their way into a never before Valentine’s date with our one of a kind initiative, â€?Tata Nano presents UTV Bindass Love Band’. All they need to do is to tell us their hatke idea of expressing love and if it melts one heart we’ll send a band to their Valentine to melt her/his heart. Also we believe professing one’s love should not be so expensive especially on a Valentines Day and so Bindass decided to take to the streets with the â€?Like Bindass Har Rose’ initiative. To reach out to the youth one has to go beyond just programming initiatives, the youth today needs to be involved in on a deeper level, interesting concepts like these work well with the youngsters….
