This latest addition to the family of The KARAOKE Channel services is now available on Google Play and extends the offering of mobile karaoke to a whole new audience of singing and music fans. Offering the best karaoke experience available on Android, the application comes with 50 songs, with thousands more available by subscription.

Phunware’s extensive distribution network and expertise has provided the means to deliver The KARAOKE Channel videos to mobile devices via video-on-demand streaming on Sprint or by premium download on AT&T and Nokia Ovi. Other carriers will be announced soon. The addition of The KARAOKE Channel Mobile Application for Android further increases the availability of karaoke in the expanding global mobile marketplace.

This karaoke app for Android, like its counterpart on the iPhone, comes with 50 great songs in the style of today’s top artists, including Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson and many others. The complimentary song list is updated on a monthly basis to ensure there will always be new and popular songs to sing. Thousands more songs are available with the 30 day subscription. Songs are easy to find by browsing the charts, or searching for song titles or artists, and can be added as favorites. The songs play with scrolling lyric cues on original concept video backgrounds and an optional lead vocal guide track can be turned on or off, to help sing the songs if necessary.
