MUMBAI: Sony Music, a global music giant, released Mychael Danna’s original motion picture soundtrack from ‘Life of Pi’, a journey of adventure and a tale of personal discovery based on the best-selling novel by Yann Martel.
Celebrated classical singer Bombay Jayashree, worked with Mychael Danna and is nominated for the Oscars 2013 for Music Original Song, “Pi’s Lullaby” from Life of Pi – Music by Mychael Danna; Lyric by Bombay Jayashri.
Since the Oscar nominations, this song, in which the mother puts her child to sleep while describing how precious and beautiful he is, has generated enormous buzz in social media, particularly on YouTube.
