MUMBAI: Shankar Ehsaan Loy performed live at the DSK SUPINFOCOM campus in Pune, India on 4th December evening. Amid loud cheer , applause waving of hands in wave motion thousands of fans danced and crooned to all time favourite numbers belted out by the dynamic trio. With the singing of the customary and traditional Ganesh Vandana the trio set the tone for the evening. Followed by a humble prayer of condolence for the departed legendary actor Dev Anand all fans gathered at the state-of-the art DSKSupinfocom campus then joined the trio also in an impromptu â€?’jugalbandi” scoring â€?’100 marks” by keeping pace and rhythm with the â€?’BREATHLESS â€?’ Shankar Mahadevan.
During the two two-hour concert Chairman and Managing Director of the DSK Group Shri D S Kulkarni felicitated the trio and the winning DSK Shivajians football team.The night was young , vibrant as the trio sang all their popular Hindi film hits spanning over a decade. The icing on the cake was when Shankar Mahadevan sand to the audience delight his recently popular Marathi number – â€?’Mana udhaan varyache.” The concert rocked Pune .
Addressing press persons on the occasion , Shankar and Ehsaan both pointed out the significance of the DSK Supinfocom design school, its growing need and relevance and empahsised that â€?’there was a need and scope for music in the video game industry.” They also pointed out that they were â€?’keen and excited on giving music to animation films and there was a large scope for animation in feature films in Bollywood.” Shankar drew a similarity between â€?’sur and product design.” He said, â€?’both had strong roots in a creative process.”
