MUMBAI: India’s most popular melody station, Radio City 91.1FM is celebrating Music ka Sabse Bada Jashan, Musical-E-Azam, Season 3, with a line up of the best talent from the music industry. Today on Day 6th,, the Musical-E-Azam’s darbar was mesmerized by the singer extraordinaire, Rekha Bhardwaj’s rendition of some of her inimitable songs Genda Phool, Namak Ishq Ka and not to forget the latest Raat ke dhai baaje from Kaminey. Excited and enthusiastic listeners from afar came at the break of dawn to meet and personally greet their favourite singer.
The environment was lively with Rekha Bhardwaj, singing and interacting with the listeners who could not stop praising her distinctly refreshing voice and how she has been a breath of fresh air to the music industry. Live and Unplugged at Radio City Musical-E-Azam – Season 3, she shared the journey of her life before her debut album â€?Tere Ishq Mai’ and how supportive her husband Vishal Bhardwaj was to explore her talent. She also spoke of her various endeavours’ and how she got â€?character’ songs that complemented her voice and now is considered amongst the unique voices of the industry.
The festival, now in its 2nd and last week, gets into 5th gear mode with the presence of music industry’s renowned stars Kunal Ganjawala and Shaan stepping in LIVE and UNPLUGGED into Radio City studios in the coming days.
