MUMBAI: One of the leading FM networks in the country, Radio City 91.1 FM, put up an impressive show at the EMVIES awards introduced by the Advertising Club Bombay.
The ‘Band Baja Competition,’ a special vertical in EMVIES 2012, honored special musical talent among media companies and agencies. RJ Ajay of PlanetRadiocity won the best solo category(western) while Radio City’s band comprised of RJ Ajay of PlanetRadiocity.com, RJ Sucharita of Radio City, and Ashutosh Balsekar of PlanetRadiocity won the title of the ‘best band’ (Indian).
Radio City participated in all categories for the auditions held on 24 August, and qualified for Finals in Best Band Indian, Best Vocals Indian, Best Vocals Western. The final results were announced in a glittering ceremony at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on 3rd September.
