MUMBAI: Radio City’s singing talent hunt Super Singer culminated in Mumbai with five singers battling for the title of ‘Radio City Super Singer’. Contestant Amit was crowned as the winner of the hunt in the city.
The finale was a tough competiton between the top five contestants – Manasi, Tanya, Daniel, Dipankar and Amit where the winner was felicitated with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a TVS Wego. Selected after a tough round of auditions, the contestants were trained for a week by the experts of the music industry including the judges Neeraj Shridhar and Javed Ali along with singer Richa Sharma.
Radio City Super Singer winner Amit said, “Auditioning for Radio City Super Singer was one of the best decisions I have ever taken in life. I am really thankful to Radio City for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent. I would also like to thank the judges and the listeners for voting for me.”
The fourth edition of the singing talent hunt witnessed around 68000 registrations across 20 cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Baroda, Surat, Ahmednagar, Nagpur, Vizag, Coimbatore, Sangli, Solapur and Jalgaon.
