MUMBAI: Radio City 91.1 FM, India’s first and leading private FM radio brand, and Shree Krupa Medical Aid and Research Foundation hosted a fund-raising charity ghazal night with Padmabhushan Jagjit Singh. The musical evening was organised at Sri Sahnmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswati Auditorium in Sion on June 4, 2010 for gifting a better future to the under privileged.
Die-hard ghazal fans flocked at the auditorium to witness the living legend enchant them with his mesmerizing voice The show was a thundering success with all tickets sold out. The money raised will be used for providing poor and under privileged with medical aid, holding health checkup camps for them, distributing free exercise books to their children, arranging tricycle for physically handicapped and bicycle for school going tribal girls and ensuring medical assistance to the people suffering from dreaded disease.
This initiative is an attempt from Radio City 91.1 FM to make a difference to the community by assisting Shree Krupa Medical Aid and Research Foundation to raise funds for supporting the under privileged and downtrodden.
