MUMBAI: Radio City 91.1 FM celebrated the 39th birthday of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar in a unique style at Futala Lake, Nagpur. Radio City decided to celebrate Sachin’s birthday in a stupendous manner this year, as he has created history with the 100th International century, adding another milestone in his illustrious career. This day was one of those that will remain etched in the minds of spectators and Sachin’s admirers all across the city.
Radio City 91.1 FM customized a 100 feet long cake, the longest Nagpur had ever witnessed. Making the cake all the more special, it was designed with Sachin’s childhood pictures. Moreover, 100 people named ‘Sachin’ were invited from all over the city to cut this splendid cake. The youngest from among 100 ‘Sachin’s’ was just a month old!!
In honor of Sachin Tendulkar, former cricketer ‘Rajesh Chouhan’, Vidarbha Cricket association chief ‘Mr. Prakash Dixit’ along with Nagpur Mayor Mr. Anil Sole commemorated this occasion.
