MUMBAI: On the occasion of its second Birthday, 94.3 MY FM Bhopal has kicked off the festivities in the City of Lakes. As MY FM Bhopal turns two on May 27th, the activities and excitement have already begun and apart from the entertainment, which is a regular dose at MY FM, the celebrations also include some humble initiatives to help the underprivileged children.
In a celebration designed specially for the people of the city, MY FM Bhopal has planned two exciting activities – â€?Cash Pe Dugni Aish’ and â€?MY FM – Ek Koshish’ – for the second birthday bash.
The two day extravaganza kicks off on the 26th with a double bonanza on the popular activity â€?Cash Pe Aish’ which turns into â€?Cash Pe Dugni Aish’. MY FM’s RJs go on-ground with a set of questions related to the city and the participants stand to win cash prizes if they get the answers right. The people who answer all questions correctly will win twice the amount of the highest currency note they are carrying in their wallet. â€?Cash Pe Dugni Aish’ goes on-ground on May 26th and May 27th.

MY FM Bhopal has also taken up a CSR initiative called MY FM – Ek Koshish’ planned for its birthday. The two week long activity which will start on May 28th will be in collaboration with an NGO Seva Bharti for an orphanage called ‘Matrachhaya’. The MY FM Bhopal team has found that a major problem at orphanages is the scarcity of milk and MY FM’s Ek Koshish will undertake an activity urging people to donate funds for the provision of Milk for the children ‘Matrachhaya’. The donations, which are tax exempt under section 80G, will be invited from MY FM listeners as a part of this social initiative. MY FM will start the activity with a donation from the members of the MY FM Bhopal family.
Speaking about the Birthday celebrations by the station, 94.3 MY FM’s Chief Operating Officer – Mr. Harrish M Bhatia said Our birthday celebrations this year are very special because we have taken up some important issues along with the excitement and entertainment. I am confident that the initiative to help the under privileged children will be successfully completed and that the people of the city of Bhopal, who have kept us in their hearts, will join us in this initiative.
