MUMBAI: Siliguri’s first radio station Radio Misty will celebrate Durga puja with fun and music. The station has a planned programs and promotions to celebrate the festival with their listeners. The theme for the station this puja is Pujar Anando Misty Sanghe where the station is making trips to puja pandals with contests to get the vibe of the festive spirit.
Radio misty is celebrating the spirit of Durga Puja with a high-powered on-air musical welcoming Goddess Durga on Mahalaya on 29 September. The show will feature live recitals by well-known Bengali artistes. The show ends with the legendary Birendra Krishna Bhadra chanting the Mahalaya Strotras. The FM station will be playing Mahisasur Mardini by Legendary Birendra Krishna Bhadra.
On Mahalaya Radio Misty is organizing 4 km and a 15 km road Race in association with Baghajatin Athletic Club in Siliguri. This race will be flagged by Athlete Sushmita Singha Roy.

Idol immersion will be taken live from all towns where RJ will be stationed .Radio misty will have 24×7 SMS service where listeners can wish happy puja .all sms will be taken on air.
