MUMBAI: Mirchi RJs have always brought a smile to your face with their banter on air. They’ve pulled pranks, entertained you with humorous anecdotes and chartbusting songs. They’ve been a steadfast companion through night or day and on 14th November Mirchi listeners got the chance to discover different aspects of their favourite RJs as they celebrated Children’s Day. The pleasures of innocent childhood were unraveled again as Mumbai’s leading radio station, Radio Mirchi, celebrated Children’s Day in a unique way – Mirchi pe full on Bacchagiri!
Through the day on 14th November, Radio Mirchi played voice clips of RJs when they were young and Mirchi listeners got to hear the chotu Mirchi RJs. Listeners identified Mirchi RJs from their childhood photographs. Lucky listeners who correctly recognized photos of the RJs when they were adorable tiny tots won some great prizes.
Mirchi fans took part in this novel contest by logging onto the Radio Mirchi page on Facebook. They were treated to cute photographs of Mirchi RJs as toddlers and heard exclusive voice snippets of them.
