For the first time in the history of a reality music show, Radio Mirchi and Indian Idol joined hands to give the nation their very own Mirchi Idol! Bhoomi Trivedi, one of the three finalists of â€?Indian Idol 5′, was welcomed amidst cheer and applause into the Mirchi family when she was chosen as the lucky one to join the thrilling and fun-loving gang of Radio Mirchi RJs at the grand finale of â€?Indian Idol 5′ held on Sunday night.
The talented and vivacious singer will enthral Mirchi listeners on a special Sunday show for four consecutive weeks! Couple of weeks back, the five Indian Idol finalists visited to the Radio Mirchi studio where they auditioned for the coveted prize. The talented five had a gala time in the Mirchi studio where they bonded with RJ Sangeeta, talked about their experiences on Indian Idol and flaunted their skills in front of the mic. Mirchi listeners were then given a chance to vote for their Mirchi Idol
On the star-studded grand finale of Indian Idol, RJ Sangeeta announced Bhoomi Trivedi as the very first Mirchi Idol! Loud cheers followed and an effervescent Bhoomi was ecstatic at being given such a unique opportunity. She even greeted the audience in true RJ style!
